In the middle of the road stood the wedding cake of Claire Benjamin. The wedding cake was thrown out the car window just after Claire received a phone call from her fiancé saying he could not go through with the wedding.
Mixed emotions rushed through Claire’s body but the emotion that took control of her was her anger. This is when she grabbed the cake and threw it out the window. She asked the driver to stop the car and began sobbing. She could not understand how after three years her fiancé could call off the wedding and elope with a girl he barely new.
So there Claire was sitting by the side of the road with the wedding cake smashed in the middle of the road. The way the wedding was looking, that was the way Claire was feeling. She felt crushed, ugly, a huge mess and like there was no way anyone could make her feel better.

ReplyDeleteShame, that is a really sad story and a lot of times things like this happen in real life - partners leave one another after being together for long periods of time.
