What motivates me?

One of the most important factors that lead us to our goals is motivation. Without motivation we have no zest and determination to persevere. No matter the avenue our life, be it personal or professional, we need motivation.

Every person has their unique factors that motivate them. As we grow older, these factors will change from time to time. What motivates us today might not motivate us tomorrow.
What motivates me is my future. Knowing that each day is a new beginning and a day closer to my dreams.

Every morning when I awake I thank God for allowing me to wake up. Seeing my parents each morning gives me the motivation to strive for the better. Without them I would not have the strength to get through the day. Living in a free country like South Africa gives me the motivation to fulfil my daily desires. There are people who cannot leave their homes for days because of war. Having the privilege to study further motivates me to be something and someone others can look up to. With knowledge comes power and the ability to strive to help others. Having my friends and family by my side and knowing that they support me in my decisions motivates me to be a better me.

These are only but a few factors in life that motivates me. The little things in life is what motivates us the most even though we might not realise it.
