We are afraid of the wrong things

The first thing we need to ask ourselves is; what is fear? Fear is seen as False Evidence Appearing Real. Far too often we fear for the things that matter the least to us. It is because of our ‘terror barrier’ that we fear these simple things.

Our terror barrier is a sense that allows us to fear for anything and sometimes everything. Why is it that sometimes we fear to do things that the next person enjoys? Everyone and anyone can enjoy many things if they just put their minds to it. Do you ever say to yourself that if I was not afraid of this I could actually get very far in life? Fear is all to often even related to our comfort zones. We are so comfortable with ourselves that we fear if we were to change life would not be as wonderful.

It is time we open our minds and realise that fear is not something real. The next time we are afraid of something we should ask ourselves why we are afraid. What is the worst thing that can happen to us? Is it worth being afraid of or if I overcome this fear will life be a fulfilment?

  1. Comfort zones is one of the main issues regarding this topic. It is something that I need to overcome as a person.

  2. I suppose we fear doing something different because we are afraid of being judged and doing things that is not pleasing to society. We are afraid of being unique and stepping out and taking risks.

  3. I think it plays a major role in our living conditions and culture, as we experience situations through this.
