Take the jump

From the moment we open our eyes we are faced with making decisions. Everything, from what to wear to what time we leave for work, requires a decision, however small. Decision making affects everything we do.

With almost every decision we make there is some sort of risk involved. When we decide to eat fast food, we put our health in risk. When we decide not to work today, there is a risk involved. So no matter how small the decision there is a risk is linked.

We are not always aware that we are constantly faced with making decisions. Yet, when we are required to take the big jump it seems like we cannot do it. Our whole life we are faced with making decisions. Without deciding what we want to do, life would be boring.

How are we supposed to live life to the fullest when we are afraid to jump? We need that adrenaline rush to experience life. Life is more than just going to school or work and earning to live. Life is about making the right decision and being able to tell a story about it.

So the next time we are required to make a decision, think what is the worst that can happen then just take that jump and fly.

  1. I don't think we realise how many decisions we make everyday. It boils down to choice, without choice will not have the need to make decisions. How boring would it be if we weren't given choices or options?

  2. I totally agree with you, so often we are afraid of taking that leap of faith...we have so little self belief.
